This is the new Search and Rescue online course required of every future member of a Maine Search and Rescue Team. Current members of teams may wish to take this course as it includes information not previously given and critical to your participation in the field. You must take this online course prior to being scheduled to attend a practical workshop. During that workshop you will be tested on your knowledge gained from this online course and practical outdoor skills. Once you successfully complete this requirement you will be allowed to participate with the search and rescue team you have joined at their discretion.

This course is open to anyone that wishes to take it, regardless of search and rescue team affiliation. It is very helpful for future Registered Maine Guides and outdoor enthusiasts..
