Any search for a missing person could be a search for the victim of a crime.  All search and rescue volunteers and first responders should have training in Crime Scene Preservation. 

This short course meets the requirements of the International Police Work Dog Association prerequisite for SAR dog team certification testing. Upon request, a certificate of completion will be provided by Maine K-9 Services once the course is taken and a short written test passed.
